A plane is the most convenient and fastest means of transport currently available. We choose it when we want to get to an important business meeting with a contractor, take part in an international conference or trade fair, as well as for private purposes – when we go on a family vacation or a city break with friends. If we also care about high travel comfort, we choose first class on a scheduled plane. Meanwhile, an interesting alternative is to use the service of private charter flights. What are the characteristics of both solutions and which one will work in a specific situation?

Private plane charter – what does it involve?

The service of a charter flight on a private jet is becoming increasingly popular, especially among entrepreneurs, but it is also willingly chosen by private clients. Similarly to a charter flight operated by a scheduled carrier, charter means the possibility of getting to a very specific destination, often bypassing large airports.

The main difference is that in the case of a private charter, we have the entire plane at our disposal and we decide when the flight will take place and where exactly we will fly. Depending on the specific model of the plane, we can use hot and cold catering, a bar and various types of entertainment (e.g. listening to music, watching films). Passengers can be accompanied by a stewardess, who then takes care of only a small group of customers. Passengers pass through dedicated private terminals at the airport, without having to wait in line and endure inconveniences.

First class on a plane – what is it characterized by?

In the case of first class on a scheduled plane, the carrier also tries to maximize the comfort of passengers. They can count on, among other things, priority service at the airport and access to areas inaccessible to other passengers. They have a larger baggage limit and a more extensive menu. The seats in first class are also more comfortable than in economy class.

What a first class customer on a scheduled plane will not receive is complete personalization of the flight. We have to adapt to the flight schedule and we have no influence on who will sit in the adjacent seats.

In what situations is it worth choosing a private jet charter?

A private jet charter is a solution for everyone who particularly values ​​the comfort of the flight, but also its safety – the risk of a threat from third parties is minimized to almost zero. A private jet will take off exactly when you want and bring you to the chosen place – even to a less popular landing site.

All this means that the offer of luxury flights by private jets is increasingly used by business people who have to cover large distances in a short time or simply want to fall asleep in their own bed even if they participate in meetings during the day in places thousands of kilometers away from home. The second group for whom private jets are especially recommended are private users who focus on comfort and prefer non-standard destinations, not served by cruise lines.

Who is first class on a plane suitable for?

First class also has its advantages. It is a cheaper option than a jet chartered for one or several people. It is therefore especially useful when we are looking for something more comfortable than economy class, but have a limited budget. First class is especially often used for the most expensive intercontinental flights. Private charters on these routes are less popular due to the relatively high prices.
