Gulfstream – planes for demanding customers
Gulfstream Aerospace is a solid brand with nearly 70 years of history. The company dates back to 1957. It was then that the Gulfstream brand was established, belonging to the American company Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation, which produces aircraft for the military.
The G-159 Gulfstream I designed and built by this company was the world’s first commercial aircraft. It owes its popular name to a natural phenomenon known as the Gulf Stream – a strong, warm sea current flowing from North America to Europe.
The great success of the G-159 led Grumman Aircraft Engineering to further explore the concept of small commercial aircraft. The special purpose vehicle established to carry out this task was sold to the outstanding businessman Allen Paulson and soon gained the name Gulfstream American Corporation, which in turn in 1982 gained its current name – Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. Since 2001, Gulfstream has been part of the General Dynamics concern and is still an American company.

G280 – specification and history
AMC Aviation is the largest operator and the most experienced G280 maintenance station in Europe. This agile aircraft with an impressive range of 6,667 km is currently the smallest aircraft offered by Gulfstream. Work on the model began in 2005 and the prototype first flew in 2009.
The G280s in our fleet can accommodate 9 passengers and large luggage. The plane has the quietest cabin in its class. You can even sleep on board, but also eat a delicious hot or cold meal, enjoy a wide selection of best alcohols and rely on the stewardess’ care.
